Happy Belated Birthday Rich! I love the article and always struggle with putting personal life first. For the first time in literally years I sat down this weekend for 1.5 hours with a cup of coffee and read magazines that didn't have to do with business. It was very refreshing.

My only debate is that business is not like rubber when it is your own. As you know, starting and building a business takes huge dedication - it's like another child. You can't let things drop. But if you love what you do, it's worth it. Balance is what it's all about. I'm working on that!

Rich,
You definitely have the right priorities in life. I enjoyed this piece. Would you believe I call myself a Life-Work Coach, not the other way around! I also talk about Life-Work Balance, not the conventional way...Work-Life Balance. I have never seen a U-Haul following a hearse. Have you?
