New York Post!

nypInterviewed by Brian Moore at the New York Post this morning:

“Take an interest in the interviewer. Show you care by figuring out what gets the interviewer’s mojo working, then strike up a short conversation about it – or, better yet, incorporate it into that thank you note. If the interviewer is into, say, fishing, include a tip about an unknown fisherman’s paradise your note,” suggests executive coach Rich Gee.

“You’re looking for a connection,” he says.

Figuring out what that connection might be is part of the trick. “You need to be like Sherlock Holmes. You have to decipher certain things that drive them,” says Gee, who notes: “People’s offices are a reflection of themselves, so you can always find something.”

Yea! Thanks Brian!  Here’s the link.
